Apply the minerals in thin layers using downward strokes. Start application from jaw towards center of face ­ so that the heaviest concentration won't be on the center of the face. Convert Loose Mineral Foundation to a creamy liquid foundation or concealer by mixing with your favorite moisturizer. Mix powder and moisturizer proportionately to desired consistency. (Mineral Enhancer Polished works great as a concealer shade ­ apply with a synthetic brush (Acrylic Concealer) for best results. For a sheer luminous glow - very lightly spray a flocked sponge or Luxurious Kabuki brush with D20 spray, dip into Mineral Foundation Powder and quickly buff onto face. You may also try dipping first and then lightly spraying ­ This method takes practice. Make a tinted moisturizerwith a drop size of moisturizer in the palm of your hand, tap a small amount of Mineral Powder and rub palms together for a quick easy tinted moisturizer with sun protection. Try one shade darker than your usual. Smooth over entire face. To set makeup for a long lasting matte finish; dust Rice Powder over your foundation with our Luxurious Kabuki Brush. You will love the silky feel on your skin. To control very oily skin or excess moisturized skin, try using Mineral Rice Setting Powder as a pre-base and apply Mineral Foundation directly on top. To cover large pores, after the minerals have been applied, spritz face with D20 (heavy water), when most of the D20 has been absorbed, lightly tap with a Flocked Sponge in a stippling motion. Pores will disappear. D20 Spray is a good substitute moisturizer for oily or acne skin. To customize your foundation shade mix two shades by lightly touching your brush to each shade, then swirl the mixture inside the lid, and apply as usual. Try using a darker base as a contour or bronzer. This makes the skin come alive and also increases the sun protection. Apply Bronze Foundation or Warm Me Up Blush with the Fiber Optic Brush to Cheeks, Forehead, Shoulders, and décolletage or anywhere you want a sun kissed bronze tan. (Try Voluptuous for a cooler glow). Use powders wet or dry as a shadow, eyeliner, or even mix with clear lip-gloss for a beautiful pout. (Eyeliner Sealer is the perfect wetting agent for turning Mineral Shadows into beautiful long lasting, liquid eyeliner). Try using shadows wet by lightly spray brush with a little bit of D20 or water, dipping into shadow and applying. Mineral Shadows can be used to custom tweak foundation shades. Add a little more yellow to foundations (Mellow Yellow) add a little more pink (Spoiled Pink) Be creative! Experiment and have fun!
